Several students from abroad start their study since September 10, 2012 at Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU). They are funded by Ministry of Education and Culture via Darmasiswa scholarship. The programs of their study at SCU are Indonesian Traditional Herbal Medicine and Entrepreneurship & Social Responsibility which will be held for 6 months (1 semester) and 1 year (2 semester). Those two programs are unique and might be different with other Darmasiswa programs which commonly focused on Indonesian Language, Culture, and Arts. Benny D. Setianto, Vice Rector of Cooperation and Development, hopes they are not only study their chosen program at SCU but also learn and enjoy their life in a different culture. CLT as an English training institution affiliated to SCU will teach bahasa Indonesia to equip them in the daily life.
